1. They really really love vegetables. When they eat Pho (Vietnamese noodle soup), they put sliced vegetable into the bowl until it doesn't have any empty space left!!

2. They love to use hat. Every corner of the city, you will see motocycle rider are using hat rather than helmet (They seem don't care about safefy of themself). And you will find many many hat seller on road side and in the market (especially in Ben Thanh) with various model for man and woman.

(But I think, they should replace the hat with helmet. Since Dec 15th, 2007, the government release a new rule that each motorride must use a helmet with a certified sticker on it.)

3. They love barbeque

4. They love to eat pork.

5. They like to drink beer very much, every time and everywhere (especially man)

6. They don't like to walk (Walking means you are poor, can't afford a motorcycle)

7. There are always be a picture Ho Chi Minh on the money. So it's a little bit difficult to recognize the money.

8. Since this is socialist country, every corner of the city, there are flag of communism. And T-shirt with communism logo.

9. Girls (or women? I don't know ) in Vietnam are very sexy (or vulgar?).. They use transparent clothes while riding motorcycle. Transparent, strapless, backless clothes are very common here, even in the night.
They are hoping to get a western boyfriend or husband.

10. The girls using black glasses in the night! You can find them on the center of the city.

11. They usually used wet towel or a piece paper as subtitution of tissue. They don't have wash basin, even in the Pizza Hut restaurant!

12. A dating couple do French kissing in the road side. Very often I saw this!

13. yahoogroups is blocked!!
Some information I have heard, that there was a group in yahoogroups that said bad things about Vietnam's government.
